About the Part Time Hair Dressing Course

Twenty-Four Months (24) of Formal and Informal Training. Formal Hours are College Hours and Informal Hours are Workplace Hours

Suitable for Learners who are employed Full Time in the Hairdressing Industry

The minimum requirement for a Part Time Learner is:

• Learners must be in possession of at least a Grade 9 Certificate and turn 16 Years old in the year of enrolment
• Be employed Full Time in the Hairdressing Industry

Twenty-Four Months (24) at The Academy for One Day per week

• Class Time between 09H00 and 16H30 once a week only
• This training will cover the Formal Hours of the Qualification

Intakes

• January only      JANUARY REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN!

The Workplace Hours are completed during this two year period

• This component is for making up your Informal Hours needed towards the Full Qualification
• Learners will have to work Full Time in the Salon
• Assessments take place at The Academy during the two-year period and at regular intervals

After you have accumulated sufficient hours from both The Academy and Full Time Work, you may apply for your Trade Test at the Services SETA
